पास्का का सातवाँ सप्ताह

📒 पहला पाठ : प्रेरित-चरित 19:1-8

1) जिस समय अपोल्लोस कुरिन्थ में था, पौलुस भीतरी प्रदेशों का दौरा समाप्त कर एफे़सुस पहुँचा। वहाँ उसे कुछ शिष्य मिले।

2) उसने उन से पूछा, ’’क्या विश्वासी बनते समय आप लोगों को पवित्र आत्मा प्राप्त हुआ था?’’ उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, ’’हमने यह भी नहीं सुना है कि पवित्र आत्मा होता है’’।

3) इस पर उसने पूछा, ’’तो, आप को किसका बपतिस्मा मिला?’’ उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, ’’योहन का बपतिस्मा’’।

4) पौलुस ने कहा, ’’योहन पश्चात्ताप का बपतिस्मा देते थे। वह लोगों से कहते थे कि आप को मेरे बाद आने वाले में-अर्थात् ईसा में- विश्वास करना चाहिए।’’

5) उन्होंने यह सुन कर प्रभु ईसा के नाम पर बपतिस्मा ग्रहण किया।

6) जब पौलुस ने उन पर हाथ रखा, तो पवित्र आत्मा उन पर उतरा और वे भाषाएँ बोलते और भविष्यवाणी करते रहे।

7) वे कुल मिला कर लगभग बारह पुरुष थे।

8) पौलुस तीन महीनों तक सभागृह जाता रहा। वह ईश्वर के राज्य के विषय में निस्संकोच बोलता और यहूदियों को समझाता था

📙 सुसमाचार : योहन 16:29-33

29) उनके शिष्यों ने उन से कहा, ’’देखिये, अब आप दृष्टांतो में नहीं, बल्ेिक स्पष्ट शब्दों में बोल रहे हैं।

30) अब हम समझ गये है कि आप सब कुछ जानते हैं- प्रश्नों की कोई ज़रूरत नहीं रह गयी है। इसलिये हम विश्वास करते हैं कि आप ईश्वर के यहाँ से आये हैं।

31) ईसा ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, ’’क्या तुम अब विश्वास करते हो?

32) देखो! वह घडी आ रही है, आ ही गयी है। जब तुम सब तितर-बितर हो जाओगे और अपना-अपना रास्ता ले कर मुझे अकेला छोड दोगे। फिर भी मैं अकेला नहीं हूँ, क्योंकि पिता मेरे साथ है।

33) मैंने तुम लोगों से यह सब इसलिये कहा है कि तुम मुझ में शांति प्राप्त कर सको। संसार में तुम्हें क्लेश सहना पडेगा। परन्तु ढारस रखो- मैंने संसार पर विजय पायी है।

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज के सुसमाचार हम प्रभु येसु को भारी बाधाओं का सामना करने के बावजूद भी निडर और निर्भीक पाते हैं। उनकी इस निडरता का स्रोत था उनकी ये दृढ धारणा कि वे अपने हर कार्य में अपने पिता की इच्छा पूरी कर रहे हैं, साथ ही उनका यह दृढ विश्वास कि ‘पिता मेरे साथ है।’ उन्होंने अपने शिष्यों और भविष्य के अनुयायियों से आग्रह किया कि वे यह जानते हुए कि उन्हें भी परीक्षाओं और क्लेशों का सामना करना होगा, उन्हें साहस व हिम्मत बनाये रखने के लिए कहते हैं। हालाँकि, उन्होंने ये वादा किया कि अपने पुनरुत्थान के द्वारा, वे अंततः बुराई की सभी ताकतों पर विजय प्राप्त करेंगे।

मसीह की जीत उनके अनुयायियों को साहस और शांति के साथ पीड़ा, घृणा और उत्पीड़न का सामना करने की शक्ति देती है, जैसा कि प्रभु येसु ने किया था। वे जानते हैं कि संसार उन्हें नष्ट नहीं कर सकता, क्योंकि उनका जीवन मसीह में विश्वास की ठोस-चट्टान वाली नींव पर निर्मित है। संत पापा जॉन पौल द्वितीय ने अपने उद्घाटन प्रवचन में सभी ख्रीस्तीयों को इन शब्दों के साथ प्रोत्साहित किया, ‘डरिये मत। मसीह के लिये द्वार खोलिये!’

आज प्रभु हम सब सबको यही सन्देश देते हैं कि हम किसी भी परिस्थिति में घबराएँ अथवा डरें नहीं पर प्रभु येसु के पुनरुत्थान के सामर्थ्य पर विश्वास रखते हुए मुश्किलों का सामना करें क्योंकि प्रभु ने संसार की सारी ताकतों को हराकर हमें विजय प्रदान की है।

📚 REFLECTION

The Gospel text for today depicts Jesus as fearless, despite facing overwhelming odds. His unshakable conviction that he was doing the will of his Father, along with his belief that ‘the Father is with me’, made him fearless. He urged his disciples and future followers to take courage, knowing that they too would face trials and tribulations. However, he promised that through his resurrection, he would ultimately triumph over all the forces of evil.

The victory of Christ gives his followers the strength to face suffering, hatred and persecution with courage and serenity, just as Jesus did. They know that the world cannot destroy them, because their lives are built on the rock-solid foundation of faith in Christ. Pope Saint John Paul II, in his inaugural homily, encouraged all Christians with the words, ‘Do not be afraid. Open wide the doors to Christ!’

Today, the Lord gives this message to all of us that we should not panic or fear in any situation, but face difficulties by believing in the power of the resurrection of the Lord, because the Lord has defeated all the forces of the world and given us victory.

📚 मनन-चिंतन-2

आज के पहले पाठ में हम देखते हैं कि सन्त पौलुस कुछ शिष्यों पर हाथ रखते हैं और वे न केवल पवित्र आत्मा को ग्रहण करते हैं बल्कि विभिन्न भाषाएं बोलने और भविष्यवाणी करने लगे। वे लोग विश्वासी थे, लेकिन उन्होंने योहन का बपतिस्मा ग्रहण किया था। हम जानते हैं कि योहन पश्चाताप का बपतिस्मा देता था। वह बपतिस्मा मुक्तिदाता के आगमन की तैयारी में दिया जाने वाला बपतिस्मा था। लेकिन योहन ने स्वयं कहा था कि जब मुक्तिदाता आएंगे तो वह उन्हें आग और पवित्र आत्मा का बपतिस्मा देंगे।

प्रभु येसु ने पवित्र आत्मा के रूप में संसार को सबसे बड़ा उपहार दिया है। पश्चाताप का बपतिस्मा ईश्वर को स्वीकारने का पहला कदम है। प्रभु येसु ने और उनके बाद प्रेरितों ने अपने सेवा कार्य की शुरुआत पश्चताप के आह्वान के साथ ही की थी। लेकिन पश्चाताप के बाद अपने जीवन में ईश्वर को यानि कि पवित्र तृत्व को स्वीकार करना जरूरी है। आज के पहले पाठ में वे शिष्य हमारे लिए इसी बात का उदाहरण हैं कि ईश्वर की ओर पहला कदम ही पर्याप्त नहीं है बल्कि हर दिन ईश्वरता में और अधिक गहरा होते जाना है। क्या मैं पवित्र आत्मा को ग्रहण करने के लिए तैयार हूँ?

📚 REFLECTION

In the first reading of today we see that St. Paul lays his hands over some of the believers, and they not only receive the Holy Spirit but also begin to speak in tongues and begin to prophesy. They were already believers, but they had received the baptism of John the Baptist. John gave the baptism of repentance. That baptism was given as a preparation to receive the Saviour. John himself had indicated that he gives the baptism, but when Christ comes, he would baptise with the baptism of fire and the Holy Spirit.

God has given one of the greatest gifts to the world in the form of the Holy spirit. The baptism of repentance is only the first step towards God. Jesus began his public ministry with the call to repentance, after him the apostles also began their ministry with the same call. Repentance must lead us to welcome God in our lives. The disciples in the first reading of today present before us an example that a mere first step towards God is not sufficient, but we need to grow deeper and deeper into the relationship with God. Have I prepared myself to receive the Holy Spirit?

📚 मनन-चिंतन- 3

हिम्मत न हरो, यीशु ने दुनिया को जीत लिया है! जीवन में हम जिस दर्द और कठिनाइयों का सामना करते हैं, उसके बावजूद हमें आशा को कायम रखने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है। अंधेरे के बीच में, हमें यीशु के इन शब्दों को दृढ़ता से थामे रहने की जरूरत है: 'हिम्मत रखो, मैंने दुनिया को जीत लिया है'! यीशु जगत का प्रकाश, मार्ग और सत्य है। उसने मृत्यु और अंधकार को जीत लिया है। और हमारे बपतिस्मा से हमें पवित्र आत्मा मिला है, जो पिता और पुत्र से प्रशुत है, और जो जीवन दाता है। हमें अपने दैनिक जीवन के छोटे और बड़े कार्यों में प्रत्येक दिन साहसी बनने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है। यीशु से प्रेरित होकर, हम मसीह के जीवन और प्रेम के आधार पर जीवन में निर्णय लेते हैं। हम जानते हैं कि क्या सही है और क्या गलत, और हम मृत्यु के बजाय जीवन को चुनते हैं। इस प्रकार, प्यार की आखिर जीत होती है क्योंकि मसीह विजयी है!

📚 REFLECTION

Jesus said: “I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the word.”

“I have conquered the world,” in other words, Jesus has already saved the world. Jesus Christ already saves us. Salvation has already begun in us. But how can we be sure that we are already saved? What are the signs? I believe that in my whole life we experience salvation already even if we are still here on earth if:

First, we love the sacraments so much especially the Eucharist and His word where we encounter Jesus Christ by receiving His body and blood and if we give more importance into this sacrament.

Second, we praise God even in little blessings that we receive from Him. We often, struggle in preaching Jesus’ words and deeds and not about our accomplishments but about Jesus who is the source of everything.

Lastly, we know how to forgive. It’s not easy to forgive but our nature is that of a forgiving son and daughter of God.

How can we preach salvation to those who are suffering because of injustice and poverty?

📚 मनन-चिंतन -4

जब परिवार के शीर्ष को कुछ हो जाता है तो परिवार तितर बितर हो जाता है। आज प्रभु येसु इसी के संदर्भ में अपने शिष्यों से वार्तालाप करते है कि वह समय आयेगा जब वे सब तितर बितर हो जायेंगे। ऐसे समय में प्रभु ढ़ारस रखने को कहते है।

प्रभु के बिना जीवन दुःख, परेशानी, दुविधा, भय, ंिचंता, अंधकार और असांमजस्य से भरा जीवन हैं। प्रभु के बिना जीवन जीना या प्रभु के अभाव में जीवन जीना हमारे लिए मृत्यु से बढ़कर नहीं है। परंतु हमारे जीवन में कई ऐसे क्षण आते है जब हम प्रभु के अभाव में जीवन व्यतीत करते है अर्थात् प्रभु को अपने जीवन से भूलकर अपने हिसाब से जीते है। ऐसे समय में हम व्याकुल हो जाते है और हमें समझ में नहीं आता कि क्या करें और कभी कभी हड़बड़ाहट में हम गलत कदम उठा लेते है। प्रभु येसु हमें यह बताना चाहते है कि जब कभी ऐसा क्षण आये तो ढ़ारस रखो और येसु में विश्वास करों।

आईये आज के दिन हम उन लोगों के लिए विशेष प्रार्थना करें जो प्रभु के अभाव में जीवन जी रहें है। ईश्वर उनके मन और ह्दय को आलोकित करें। आमेन!

📚 REFLECTION

When something happens to the head of the family then the family scatters. Today Lord Jesus talks about this context to his disciples that the time will come when they all will be scattered. In that situation Jesus says to take courage.

Without God life is full of sorrow, difficulties, confusion, fear, anxiety, darkness and disharmony. Living without God or living wvith the lack of God is no greater than death. But in our lives many moments come when we live without God, in other words we live according to our own ways forgetting God. We become anxious in this moment and do not understand what to do and sometimes take the wrong step in confusion. Lord Jesus wants to tell us that whenever like this situation comes take courage and believe in Jesus.

Let’s pray this day for those people who are living the life without God; May God enlighten their mind and heart. Amen!
