पास्का का छठवाँ सप्ताह

📒 पहला पाठ : प्रेरित-चरित 16:22-34

22) उनके विरोध में भीड़ भी एकत्र हो गयी। तब न्यायकर्ताओं ने कपड़े उतरवा कर उन्हें कोड़े लगाने का आदेश दिया।

23) उन्होंने पौलुस और सीलस को खूब पिटवाया और कारापाल को बड़ी सावधानी से उनकी रखवाली करने का आदेश दे कर उन्हें बन्दीगृह में डलवा दिया।

24) कारापाल ने ऐसा आदेश पा कर उन्हें भीतरी बन्दीगृह में रखा और उनके पैर काठ में जकड़ दिये।

25) आधी रात के समय जब पौलुस तथा सीलस प्रार्थना करते हुए ईश्वर की स्तुति गा रहे थे और कैदी उन्हें सुन रहे थे,

26) तो एकाएक इतना भारी भूकम्प हुआ कि बन्दीगृह की नींव हिल गयी। उसी क्षण सब द्वार खुल गये और सब कैदियों की बेडि़याँ ढ़ीली पड़ गयीं।

27) कारापाल जाग उठा और बन्दीगृह के द्वार खुले देख कर समझ गया कि क़ैदी भाग गये हैं। इसलिए उसने तलवार खींच कर आत्महत्या करनी चाही,

28) किन्तु पौलुस ने ऊँचे स्वर से पुकार कर कहा, ’’अपनी हानि मत कीजिए। हम सब यहीं हैं।’’

29) तब कारापाल चिराग मँगा कर भीतर दौड़ा और काँपते हुए पौलुस तथा सीलस के चरणों पर गिर पड़ा।

30) उसने उन्हें बाहर ले जा कर कहा, ’’सज्जनों, मुक्ति प्राप्त करने के लिए मुझे क्या करना चाहिए?’’

31) उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, ’’आप प्रभु ईसा में विश्वास कीजिए, तो आप को और आपके परिवार को मुक्ति प्राप्त होगी’’।

32) इसके बाद उन्होंने करापाल और उसके सब घरवालों को ईश्वर का वचन सुनाया।

33) उसने रात को उसी घड़ी उन्हें ले जा कर उनके घाव धोये। इसके तुरन्त बाद उसने और उसके सारे परिवार ने बपतिस्मा ग्रहण किया।

34) तब उसने पौलुस और सीलस को अपने यहाँ ले जा कर भोजन कराया और अपने सारे परिवार के साथ आनन्द मनाया; क्योंकि उन्होंने ईश्वर में विश्वास किया था।

📙 सुसमाचार : योहन 16:5-11

5) अब मैं उसके पास जा रहा हूँ, जिसने मुझे भेजा और तुम लोगो में कोई मुझ से यह नहीं पूछता कि आप कहाँ जा रहे हैं।

6) मैंने तुम से यह कहा है, इसलिये तुम्हारे हृदय शोक से भर गये हैं।

7) फिर भी मैं तुम लोगों से सच कहता हूँ तुम्हारा कल्याण इस में है कि मै चला जाऊँ। यदि मैं नहीं जाऊँगा, तो सहायक तुम्हारे पास नहीं आयेगा। यदि मैं जाऊँगा, तो मैं उसे तुम्हारे पास भेजूँगा।

8) जब वह आयेगा, तो पाप, धार्मिकता और दंण्डाज्ञा के विषय में संसार का भ्रम प्रमाणित कर देगा-

9) पाप के विषय में, क्योंकि वे मुझ में विश्वास नहीं करते

10) घार्मिकता के विषय में, क्योंकि मैं पिता के पास जा रहा हूँ और तुम मुझे और नहीं देखोगे;

11) दण्डाज्ञा के विषय में, क्योंकि इस संसार का नायक दोषी ठहराया जा चुका है।

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज के सुसमाचार में, संत योहन संसार में पवित्र आत्मा की भूमिका के बारे में बतलाते हैं। आत्मा का आरम्भिक कार्य पापमय संसार को दोषी ठहराना है, क्योंकि संसार ने प्रभु येसु में विश्वास करने से इनकार कर दिया। प्रभु येसु को अस्वीकार करके, संसार ने ईश्वर और उद्धार के लिए उसकी योजना को भी अस्वीकार कर दिया। पवित्र आत्मा लोगों को उनके गलत कामों से अवगत कराएगा।

जब पेत्रुस ने पेन्तेकोस्त के दिन, अपना प्रथम प्रवचन दिया, तो उनके श्रोता गहराई से प्रभावित हुए, उनकी आतंरिक आँखें खुल गयी, उन्हें अपने पापमय स्वाभाव का ज्ञान हो गया, और उन्होंने दिल से पश्चाताप करते हुए बप्तिस्मा ग्रहण किया। यह पवित्र आत्मा का कार्य था। आजकल, कई लोग पाप को ईश्वर के खिलाफ विद्रोह के रूप में स्वीकार करने से इनकार करते हैं। पोप फ्रांसिस के शब्दों में, जब लोग पाप की भावना अर्थात् अपराध बोध खो देते हैं, तो वे एक ऐसा त्रुटिपूर्ण दृष्टिकोण विकसित करते हैं जिसके अनुसार वे कुछ भी कर सकते हैं। एक ऐसी गलत धारणा कि इन्सान अपने आप में कुछ भी करने के लिए स्वतंत्र है और उसका हर कार्य ठीक है। क्या हम इस दृष्टिकोण के शिकार हैं? क्या हमें पाप को पाप के रूप में देखने में दिक्कत होती है? तो आज ही हमें पवित्र आत्मा के मार्गदर्शन की ज़रूरत है। प्रभु का आत्मा पाप को लेकर हमारी धारणा को ठीक करे।

📚 REFLECTION

In today’s Gospel, St. John speaks of the Holy Spirit’s role in the world. The initial act of the Spirit is to condemn the sinful world because the world refused to believe in Jesus. By rejecting Jesus, the world also rejected God and His plan for salvation. The Holy Spirit will make people aware of their wrongdoings.

When Peter gave his first sermon on the day of Pentecost, his audience were deeply moved, their inward eyes were opened, they became aware of their sinful nature, and they were baptized with heartfelt remorse. This was the work of the Holy Spirit. Nowadays, many people refuse to accept sin as a rebellion against God. In the words of Pope Francis, when people lose the sense of guilt, they develop a flawed attitude according to which they can do anything. There is a misconception that a person is free to do anything on his own, his every action is fine. Are we victims of this approach? Do we have trouble seeing sin as sin? So today we need the guidance of the Holy Spirit. May the Spirit of God correct our perception of sin.

📚 मनन-चिंतन-2

ईश्वर की जो भी योजना है, वह पूरी होकर रहती है, फिर चाहे दुनिया के लोग उसे विफल बनाने की कितनी भी कोशिश कर लें। फिलिप्पी के लोग रोमी संस्कृति को मानने वाले लोग थे, और यहूदी धर्म और संस्कृति के विरुद्ध था। उन्होंने प्रेरितों के समय में येरूसलेम पर आक्रमण किया था और येरूसलेम मंदिर को नष्ट कर दिया था। इसलिए प्रेरितों पर आक्रमण करना, उन पर अत्याचार करना, उनके विरुद्ध लोगों को भड़काना फिलीप्पी के लोगों के लिए कोई मुश्किल काम नहीं था। इसलिए आज के पहले पाठ में हम देखते हैं, कि वे मार-पीट कर और घायल करके बंदीगृह में डाल देते हैं। बंदीगृह का अधिकारी अपनी जिम्मेदारी को गंभीरता से लेता है। लोगों ने सोचा था कि प्रभु येसु के सुसमाचार का प्रचार करने वाले इन प्रेरितों का मुहँ बंद हो जाएगा, वे बंदीगृह की चारदीवारी में ही दफन हो जाएंगे, उनका किस्सा खतम हो जाएगा। लेकिन जो ईश्वर का कार्य करते हैं, उन्हें मनुष्य कैसे बंदी बना सकते हैं। ईश्वर ने न केवल उन प्रेरितों को बंदीगृह से मुक्त किया बल्कि बंदीगृह का अधिकारी भी अपने परिवार के साथ मुक्तिदाता प्रभु येसु में विश्वास करता है। प्रभु के जो भक्त संकट में फँस जाते हैं, प्रभु जरूर उनकी रक्षा करता है और उनके लिए सब कुछ में भला करता है।

📚 REFLECTION

God’s plans come to their fulfillment even the world may oppose them. The people of Philippines were the people who followed the Roman culture and they were against the culture and religion of the Jews. The Romans were the ones who attacked Jerusalem and destroyed the Jerusalem Temple. So attacking the apostles and persecuting them and instigating people against them was not a new thing for them. Therefore we see in the first reading today that they beat and wound the Apostles and put them in jail . The officer in the jail takes his responsibility very seriously. People normally thought that now the Apostles can be silenced and and the Gospel will be stopped from spreading and it will be buried in the walls of the prison. But those who work for God, who can imprison them? God not only freed those apostles from the prison but also made the officer to receive the savior Jesus Christ and believe in the Lord with all of his family. Those who love God and when they are faced with crisis in their life, God will certainly protect them and do good to them.

एक तरह से, एक ईसाई का पूरा जीवन एक परीक्षा हैं। उन पर दुनिया और शैतान द्वारा आरोप लगाया जाता है, प्रलोभन दिया जाता है और दुर्व्यवहार किया जाता है। यीशु मसीह में उनके उद्धारकर्ता के रूप में उनके विश्वास को नष्ट करने के लिए सभी झूठे आरोप लगाया जाता है। यीशु जानता है कि, यदि हमे अकेला छोड़ दिया जाए, तो हम अपनी रक्षा करने में सक्षम नहीं होंगे, हम खो जाएंगे और उत्पीड़ित होंगे क्योंकि हम न केवल संसार के शक्तिओं खिलाफ लड़ते हैं बल्कि स्वर्गीय स्थानों में प्रधानता और शक्तियों के खिलाफ लड़ते हैं (इफि. 6:12)। इसलिए वह पवित्र आत्मा भेजता है: ताकि, धार्मिकता और न्याय को बरकारकर रखने के लिए और सच्चाई की रक्षा करने के लिए। यह पवित्र आत्मा हमारे दिलों और दिमागों में काम करता है, हमें मसीह में विश्वास में लाने के लिए। हमें पवित्र आत्मा को निरंतर हमारे जीवन में आह्वान करना है ।

उभरते कलीसिया के लिए एक देखभाल करने वाली मार्गदर्शिका के रूप में मरियम ने पहले ही ऊपरी कक्ष में अपनी मिशन शुरू कर दी थी, पवित्र आत्मा के आने की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए प्रेरितों के साथ प्रार्थना करते हुए (cf. अधिनियमों 1:14)। इस अर्थ में, सदियों से न, ईसाई धर्मपरायणता ने मैरी को विभिन्न उपाधियों से सम्मानित किया है, कई मायनों में, जैसे कि चेलों की, विश्वासियों की,और उन सभी की जो मसीह में पुनर्जन्म लेते हैं; और "चर्च की माता" के रूप में भी आध्यात्मिक लेखकों के ग्रंथों के साथ-साथ पोप बेनेडिक्ट XIV और लियो XIII के मैजिस्टरियम में उपयोग किया जाता है।

"इस प्रकार नींव स्पष्ट रूप से स्थापित है जिसके द्वारा धन्य पॉल VI, 21 नवंबर 1964 को, दूसरे वेटिकन काउंसिल के तीसरे सत्र के समापन पर, धन्य कुँवारी मरियम को" कलीसिया की माँ, यानी सभी ईसाईयों की माँ के रूप में घोषित किया गया था। सभी के लिए और साथ ही पुरोहितों के लिए भी , जो उसे सबसे प्यारी माँ कहते हैं" और इसलिए यह स्थापित किया कि "ईश्वर की माँ को इस सबसे कोमल उपाधि से पूरे ईसाई लोगों द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया है।

📚 REFLECTION

In a few days, we shall be celebrating the Ascension of Jesus to heaven. And in today’s gospel, He says: “Unless I go, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you,” (v. 7). He continues to say: “And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation,” (v. 8). The original word for convince is convict. And so the work of the Holy Spirit is to convince the world about sin, righteousness and of condemnation or judgment. But Jesus said these words before His passion, death and resurrection. Therefore He is already referring to His final departure from earth. Eight days after Jesus ascended to heaven, the promised Advocate, the Holy Spirit, came who descended upon the gathered disciples on Pentecost.

Let us reflect on the three roles the Holy Spirit as enumerated by Jesus:

First, the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin. The Holy Spirit convinces us too of God’s love and forgiveness and of our utter dependence on Him for His mercy and grace.

Second, the Holy Spirit convinces us of the righteousness of Christ backed by the fact that Jesus rose again and went to His Father. Physically, we don’t see Jesus anymore. He is at the right hand of the Father as confirms by the Holy Spirit in our hearts. In spite of the fact that He is already at the right hand of the Father, He is more present to us today than when He walks along the dusty roads of Palestine. We are never alone; He is always at our side.

Third, the Holy Spirit convicts us of judgment; that we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. God’s judgments are just and good. When we heed His judgments we find true peace, joy and reconciliation with God.

And so do we allow the Holy Spirit to have free reign in our lives that He may set us free from the grip of sin and set us ablaze with the fire of God’s love?

📚 मनन-चिंतन -4

भूकम्प एक प्राकृतिक आपदा है जिसके जरियें़ जान और माल दोनो का नुकसान होता है। इतिहास में कई ऐसे भूकम्प आयें है जिसने बहुत भारी नुकसान देश और लोगों को पहुॅंचाया है। आज के पहले पाठ में भी हम भारी भूकम्प की घटना को सुनते है परंतु इसमें किसी का नुकसान नहीं होता अपितु यह घटना के जरियें एक कारापाल और उसका परिवार ईसा मसीह में विश्वास करने लगते है। कारावास एक दण्डनीय जगह है जहॉं पर लोगों को सजा दी जाती है। प्रभु ने उस कारावास में भी अपनी महिमा प्रकट की जहॉं पर पौलुस और सीलस ने अत्याचार में भी प्रभु का गुणगान किया।

सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु ख्रीस्त पुनः सहायक के विषय में बताते हैं कि जब वह आयेगा, तो पाप, धार्मिकता और दण्डाज्ञा के विषय में संसार का भ्रम प्रमाणित कर देगा। प्रभु का आत्मा केवल सत्य के प्रति नहीं परंतु पाप और अधार्मिकता के प्रति भी खुलासा करेगा और सत्य के पथ को आलोकित करेगा।

येसु ने हमें ख्रीस्तीय बुलाहट लोगो के समक्ष येसु का साक्ष्य बनने एवं पवित्र आत्मा की मदद द्वारा सही राह चुनने के लिए बुलाया है। हम आज के पाठों द्वारा ईश्वर के कर्तव्यों को अपने जीवन में पालन करें। आमेन!

📚 REFLECTION

Earthquake is a natural disasater which leads to the loss of both lives and things. In the past many earthquakes have come which have brought heavy destruction to the country and the people. In today’s first reading too we hear about the incident of heavy earthquake but in this nobody is being harmed but through this incident the jailer and his family start believing in Jesus Christ. Prison is a place of punishment where people are being punished. Lord has demonstrated his glory even in that prison where Paul and Silas were praising God even after being persecuted.

In the Gospel Lord Jesus again speaks about the helper that when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. Lord’s Spirit not only will reveal about the truth but also about sin, righteousness and judgement and will enlighten the path of truth.

Christian call has been given by Jesus to become witnesses of Jesus infront of others and to choose the right path with the help of the Holy Spirit. Through today’s readings let’s obey the commandments of God in our lives. Amen!
