पास्का का पाँचवाँ सप्ताह

📒 पहला पाठ : प्रेरित-चरित 15:7-21

7) जब बहुत वाद-विवाद हो चुका था, तो पेत्रुस ने उठ कर यह कहा: ’’भाइयो! आप जानते हैं कि ईश्वर ने प्रारम्भ से ही आप लोगों में से मुझे चुन कर निश्चय किया कि गै़र-यहूदी मेरे मुख से सुसमाचार का वचन सुनें और विश्वास करें।

8) ईश्वर मनुष्य का हृदय जानता है। उसने उन लोगों को हमारे ही समान पवित्र आत्मा प्रदान किया।

9) इस प्रकार उसने उनके पक्ष में साक्ष्य दिया और विश्वास द्वारा उसका हृदय शुद्ध कर हम में और उन में कोई भेद नहीं किया।

10) जो जूआ न तो हमारे पूर्वज ढोने में समर्थ थे और न हम, उसे शिष्यों के कन्धों पर लाद कर आप लोग अब ईश्वर की परीक्षा क्यों लेते हैं?

11) हमारा विश्वास तो यह है कि हम, और वे भी, प्रभु ईसा की कृपा द्वारा ही मुक्ति प्राप्त करेंगे।’’

12) सब चुप हो गये और वे बरनाबास तथा पौलुस की बातें सुनते रहे, जो उन चिन्हों तथा चमत्कारों के विषय में बता रहे थे, जिन्हें ईश्वर ने उनके द्वारा ग़ैर-यहूदियों के बीच दिखाया था।

13) जब वे बोल चुके थे, तो याकूब ने कहा, ’’भाइयो! मेरी बात सुनिए।

14) सिमोन ने हमें बताया कि प्रारम्भ से ही ईश्वर ने किस प्रकार ग़ैर-यहूदियों में अपने लिए एक प्रजा चुनने की कृपा की।

15) यह नबियों की शिक्षा के अनुसार ही है; क्योंकि लिखा है:

16) इसके बाद में लौट कर दाऊद का गिरा हुआ घर फिर ऊपर उठाऊँगा। मैं उसके खँड़हरों का पुननिर्माण करूँगा और उसे फिर खडा़ करूँगा,

17) जिससे मानव जाति के अन्य लोग- अर्थात् सभी राष्ट्र, जिन्हें मैंने अपनाया है- प्रभु की खोज में लगे रहें। यह कथन उस प्रभु का है, जो ये कार्य सम्पन्न करता है।

18) ये कार्य प्राचीन काल से ज्ञात हैं।

19) ’’इसलिए मेरा विचार यह है कि जो ग़ैर-यहूदी ईश्वर की ओर अभिमुख होते हैं, उन पर अनावश्यक भार न डाला जाये,

20) बल्कि पत्र लिख कर उन्हें आदेश दिया जाये कि वे देवमूर्तियों पर चढ़ाये हुए माँस से, व्यभिचार, गला घोंटे हुए पशुओं के माँस और रक्त से परहेज़ करें;

21) क्योंकि प्राचीनकाल से नगर-नगर में मूसा के प्रचारक विद्यमान हैं और उनकी संहिता प्रत्येक विश्राम-दिवस को सभागृहों में पढ़ कर सुनायी जाती है।

📙 सुसमाचार : योहन 15:9-11

9) जिस प्रकार पिता ने मुझ को प्यार किया है, उसी प्रकार मैंने भी तुम लोगों को प्यार किया है। तुम मेरे प्रेम से दृढ बने रहो।

10) यदि तुम मेरी आज्ञओं का पालन करोगे तो मेरे प्रेम में दृढ बने रहोगे। मैंने भी अपने पिता की आज्ञाओं का पालन किया है और उसके प्रेम में दृढ बना रहता हूँ।

11) मैंने तुम लोगों से यह इसलिये कहा है कि तुम मेरे आनंद के भागी बनो और तुम्हारा आनंद परिपूर्ण हो।

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज के सुसमाचार से हम तीन शब्दों को मुख्य बिंदुओं के रूप में चुनते हैं- प्रेम, आज्ञाकारिता, आनंद। पहला प्यार: प्रभु येसु हमें अपने प्रेम में बने रहने का आग्रह करते हैं, जो उनके लिए पिता के प्रेम के समान गहरा, शुद्ध और परिपूर्ण है। यह प्रेम हमें दिव्यता की गहराई तक ले जाता है और हमें एक अबोध और विस्मयकारी स्नेह में बने रहने के लिए आमंत्रित करता है।

दूसरा आज्ञाकारिता: मसीह के प्रेम में बने रहने के लिए, हमें उनकी आज्ञाओं का पालन करना आवश्यक है। जब मसीह ने अपने परम पिता की आज्ञाओं का पालन किया, तो उन्होंने अपने प्रेम के साथ निर्बाध रूप से उनकी संगति का आनंद लिया। जितना अधिक हम मसीह की आज्ञा का पालन करेंगे, उतना ही अधिक वे हमसे प्रेम करेंगे।

और तीसरा आनंद: जब हम उनकी आज्ञाओं का पालन करते हैं और उनके प्रेम से भर जाते हैं, तब हम एक दिव्य आनंद से भर जाते हैं। प्रभु येसु ने कहा, “मैंने ये बातें तुमसे इसलिये कही हैं, कि मेरा आनन्द तुम में बना रहे और तुम्हारा आनन्द परिपूर्ण हो।” यह आनंद पूर्ण आज्ञाकारिता से और स्वयं को प्रेम के प्रति समर्पित करने से आता है। प्यारे साथियों, केवल एक ही सच्ची खुशी है, और वह है दिव्य आनंद, जिसे हम तब अनुभव करते हैं जब हम खुद को पूरी तरह से प्रभु येसु मसीह को सौंप देते हैं, जिससे वे उन राहों पर हमारा मार्गदर्शन कर सके जहाँ वे हमें ले जाना चाहते हैं।

📚 REFLECTION

In today’s Gospel, we can focus on three key words - love, obedience, and joy. Firstly, Love: Jesus encourages us to stay in His love, which is as deep, pure, and perfect as the Father's love for Him. This love takes us to the very depths of divinity and invites us to remain in a mysterious and awe-inspiring affection. Second obedience: to continue to stay in Christ’s love, we must keep His commandments. As Christ obeyed His Father’s commandments, He enjoyed uninterrupted communion with His love. The more we obey Christ, the more He will love us. The love that wept over us when we were enemies will ‘rejoice over us with singing’ when we become friends.

And lastly, it is important to note the joy that follows when we practice obedience. Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” This joy comes from perfect obedience and from surrendering ourselves to love, which we believe is good and sweet. My friends, there is only one true happiness, and that is the joy we experience when we give ourselves completely to Jesus Christ, allowing Him to guide us as He pleases.

📚 मनन-चिंतन-2

प्रभु येसु हमसे कहते हैं ‘जिस तरह से पिता ने मुझसे प्यार किया है उसी तरह से मैं भी तुम्हें प्यार करता हूँ। पिता ईश्वर ने अपने पुत्र को इतना प्यार किया कि सब कुछ उसके अधीन कर दिया। सब कुछ पर उन्हें अधिकार दिया। जो पिता का है वह पुत्र का भी है। पिता और पुत्र इस प्रेम के बीच बहुत सारी चुनौतियाँ और कष्ट भी आए, बहुत सारी परीक्षा की घड़ी आईं, लेकिन उन सब में प्रभु येसु पिता के प्रेम में बने रहे, और पिता भी सदा उनके साथ रहे। प्रभु येसु की शक्ति का स्रोत स्वयं पिता ईश्वर थे, वे उन्ही के कार्यों को करते थे। जो पिता का है उस पर पुत्र का भी अधिकार है।

पिता के जैसे ही प्रभु येसु ने हमें प्यार किया है। उन्होंने खुद को हमारे लिए क्रूस पर बलिदान कर दिया। जो प्रभु को अपनाता है, वह उन्हें अनन्त जीवन प्रदान करते हैं, वह उन्हें अपने भाई-बहन बनने का अधिकार देता है, अपने स्वर्गीय पिता की संतति बनने का अधिकार देता है (देखिए योहन 1:12)। प्रभु येसु के प्रेम में बने रहना आसान नहीं है, इसके लिए हमें बहुत कष्ट उठाने हैं, विपत्तियों का सामना करना पड़ेगा, लेकिन जो अन्त तक प्रभु के प्रेम में बना रहेगा वह विजय पाएगा (देखिए मत्ती 10:22)। प्रभु हमें उनके प्रेम में बने रहने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।

📚 REFLECTION

Jesus says, ‘As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you.’ God the Father has loved the son so much that he has put everything under his authority. The father gave all authority to the son, what belongs to the father also belongs to the son. There were many trials and tests on the way of this love between the father and the son, but all through the difficulties and challenges, Jesus remained one with his father and his father also remained always with him. God the father himself was the source of the strength of Jesus, because Jesus was doing the works of his father. Whatever belongs to the father, the son also has authority over it.

As father loved Jesus so Jesus loved us. He sacrificed himself on the cross for us. Whoever accepts Jesus in his life, Jesus gives him eternal life, he makes them his own brothers and sisters, he gives them authority and power to become the children of God (ref John 1:12). It is not easy to remain in the love of Jesus , we have to face so many difficulties and challenges , but whoever remains faithful till the end , he will be victorious through the grace of God (ref Matthew 10:22). May God grant us strength and motivation to always remain in his love.

📚 मनन-चिंतन- 3

यीशु चाहता है कि उसका आनंद मुझ में बनी रहे । मेरी भी यही इच्छा है। गहरा, स्थायी आनंद, जो कठिनाई और दुख के समय में भी रहता है। यीशु ने मेरे साथ अपने शब्दों और शिक्षाओं को साझा किया ताकि मैं उन पर ध्यान दे सकूं, उन्हें दिल में रखूँ और उन्हें और अधिक गहराई से समझ सकूं, ताकि उनका आनंद मुझ में बना रहे। आज मैं ईश्वर के आनंद के लिए प्रार्थना करता हूं कि वह मुझमें वास करे और मुझ में बना रहे। मुझे पता है कि कभी-कभी आनंदित होना कठिन हो सकता है, लेकिन मुझे परमेश्वर के प्रेम और भविष्य पर भरोसा है। दिव्य आनन्द, मेरे हृदय में बस जा । मेरी हर्षित उपस्थिति उन लोगों के लिए एक मलहम हो, जिनसे मेरी मुलाकात होती है और मुझमें आपकी उपस्थिति का साक्षी हो।

📚 REFLECTION

Jesus commands us to love one another because the Father loves Him and so He loves us too. That is why in today’s gospel He says: “As the Father loves me, so I also love you, remain in my love,” (v. 9). Through these words, Jesus says to us that He loves us because the Father loves Him first. He loves us very much because the Father loves Him very much as well. His Father’s love for Him is everlasting, selfless and undying and so also His love for us is everlasting, selfless and undying. As the Father loves Him, so does Jesus loves us in the same measure of His Father’s love for Him.

First, Jesus says: “As the Father loves me,” (v. 9). For me, I am sure that God the Father loves me and really cares for me. It is because His love for me is, above all, personal. Even if I experienced trials and difficulties in life just like this text message I received a long time ago, God still loves and cares for me as He loves and cares for Jesus. His love for me is unparalleled. His love for me does not change.” Do we believe in God’s love for us?

Second, Jesus says: “Remain in His Love,” (v. 10). Communion with Christ is so important but how do we go about it? Today’s gospel tells us how. It is by keeping God’s Commandment that we can remain in Him and remain in His love. It is because Christ Himself keeps it and remains in His love. Constancy of God’s love is what makes it different from our love. To remain in His love is to live permanently in an attitude and posture of grateful self-giving, to seek and give what He is asking.”

Third, Jesus says: “That your joy may be complete,” (v. 11). We always think of “Commandments” as constraints, impositions and limitations. Yet Jesus always keeps His Father’s commandments. He obeys them. His obedience is motivated by love for the Father. His obedience was a free, intimate and personal act of fulfilment. Our obedience to God is an authentic affirmation of what God calls us to be, to be His children. We may not feel like obeying but our love wants to fulfil His plan. This is the obedience that produces joy and not any joy but the joy of eternal happiness, remaining in His love.

📚 मनन-चिंतन -4

संहिता की सबसे बड़ी आज्ञा है अपने प्रभु-ईश्वर को अपने सारे ह्दय, अपनी सारी आत्मा और अपनी सारी बुद्धि से प्यार करो। प्यार दो लोगों के बीच में होता है। अगर प्रेम एक ही जन करें तो वह एकतरफा प्रेम हो जाता है। प्रभु ईश्वर ने अपना प्रेम अपने पुत्र को इस संसार के लिए अर्पित कर दर्शाया तथा प्रभु येसु ने अपने प्राण को हमारे लिए बलिदान देते हुए हमरे प्रति अपने प्रेम को प्रकट किया। ईश्वर निरंतर हमसे प्रेम करता आया है और निरंतर हम से प्रेम करता रहेगा क्योंकि वह सत्यप्रतिज्ञ ईश्वर है।

इस संसार में प्रभु ने हमारे लिए सबकुछ दे डाला और हमारे लिए अपने प्रेम को प्रदर्शित किया है। हमारा प्रेम प्रभु के प्रति किस प्रकार का है? क्या हम उनको उसी प्रकार प्यार करते है जैसे वह हम से करता है? शायद नहीं, इस संसार में रहते समय शायद हम इस संसार से इतने प्रभावित हो जाते है कि हम ईश्वर के प्रेम को नहीं पहचान पाते और हम ईश्वर को छोड़ संसारिक चिजों से प्यार करने लग जाते है।

आज प्रभु हम सबसे आहवान कर रहा है कि हम उसके प्रेम में दृढ़ बने रहे। जिस प्रकार प्रभु ने हमसे प्यार किया है हम भी उसी के समान दूसरों को प्यार कर सकें। आईये आज के वचनों के द्वारा हम ईश्वर से यहीं आशिष के लिए प्रार्थना करें। आमेन!

📚 REFLECTION

Greatest commandment of the law is to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love happens between the two persons. If only one person loves then it remains as one-sided love. Lord God has shown is love by giving his only Son to the world and Lord Jesus expressed his love by giving his life for us. God has been continually loving us and will continue to love us because he is the truthful God and his love is steadfast.

God has given everything for us and showed his love to us. What kind of love do we have towards God? Do we love Him as He loves us? May be not, living in this world we are so fascinated by the world that we are unable to recognize his love and we start loving the worldly things instead of God.

Today God is calling us to abide in his love. As God has loved us similarly we may be also able to love others. Let’s seek this blessing of God through today’s word. Amen!
