पास्का का तीसरा सप्ताह

📒 पहला पाठ :प्रेरित-चरित . 6:8-15
8) स्तेफनुस अनुग्रह तथा सामर्थ्य से परिपूर्ण हो कर जनता के सामने बहुत-से चमत्मकार तथा चिन्ह दिखाता था।
9) उस समय "दास्यमुक्त" नामक सभागृह के कुछ सदस्य और कुरेने, सिकन्दरिया, किलिकया तथा एशिया के कुछ लोग स्तेफनुस से विवाद करने आये।
10) किन्तु वे स्तेफ़नुस के ज्ञान का सामना करने में असमर्थ थे, क्योंकि वह आत्मा से प्रेरित हो कर बोलता था।
11) तब उन्होंने घूस दे कर कुछ व्यक्तियों से यह झूठी गवाही दिलवायी कि हमने स्तेफनुस को मूसा तथा ईश्वर की निन्दा करते सुना।
12) इस प्रकार जनता, नेताओं तथा शास्त्रियों को भड़काने के बाद वे अचानक स्तेफनुस के पास आ धमके और उसे पकड़ कर महासभा के सामने ले गये।
13) वहाँ उन्होंने झूठे गवाहों को खड़ा किया, जो बोले, "यह व्यक्ति निरन्तर मन्दिर तथा मूसा की निन्दा करता है।
14) हमने इसे यह कहते सुना कि ईसा नाज़री यह स्थान नष्ट करेगा और मूसा के समय से चले आ रहे हमारे रिवाजों को बदल देगा।"
15) महासभा के सब सदस्य स्थिर दृष्टि से स्तेफ़नुस की ओर देख रहे थे। उसका मुखमण्डल उन्हें स्वर्गदूत के जैसा दीख पड़ा।
📚 सुसमाचार : योहन 6:22-29
22) जो लोग समुद्र के उस पास रह गये थे, उन्होंने देखा था कि वहाँ केवल एक ही नाव थी और ईसा अपने शिष्यों के साथ उस नाव पर सवार नहीं हुए थे- उनके शिष्य अकेले ही चले गये थे।
23) दूसरे दिन तिबेरियस से कुछ नावें उस स्थान के समीप आ गयीं, जहाँ ईसा की धन्यवाद की प्रार्थना के बाद लोगों ने रोटी खायी थी।
24) जब उन्होंने देखा कि वहाँ न तो ईसा हैं और न उनके शिष्य ही, तो वे नावों पर सवार हुए और ईसा की खोज में कफरनाहूम चले गये।
25) उन्होंने समुद्र पार किया और ईसा को वहाँ पा कर उन से कहा, "गुरुवर! आप यहाँ कब आये?"
26) ईसा ने उत्तर दिया, "मैं तुम लोगों से यह कहता हूँ- तुम चमत्कार देखने के कारण मुझे नहीं खोजते, बल्कि इसलिए कि तुम रोटियाँ खा कर तृप्त हो गये हो।
27) नश्वर भोजन के लिए नहीं, बल्कि उस भोजन के लिए परिश्रम करो, जो अनन्त जीवन तक बना रहता है और जिसे मानव पुत्र तुन्हें देगा ; क्योंकि पिता परमेश्वर ने मानव पुत्र को यह अधिकार दिया है।"
28) लोगों ने उन से कहा, "ईश्वर की इच्छा पूरी करने के लिए हमें क्या करना चाहिए?"
29) ईसा ने उत्तर दिया, "ईश्वर की इच्छा यह है- उसने जिसे भेजा है, उस में विश्वास करो"।
📚 मनन-चिंतन
जो मनुष्य ईश्वरीय अनुग्रह तथा सामर्थ्य से परिपूर्ण है, वह आत्मा से प्रेरित होकर बोलता है। आत्मा उसका मार्गदर्शन करता है। कुछ लोग स्तेफनुस से विवाद करते हैं, वे उसके ज्ञान का सामना करने में असमर्थ थे। वे लोगों को झुठी गवाही दिलवाकर उसे पकड़ना चाहते थे। इसी प्रकार की कुछ वास्तविकता हम आज भी समाज में पनपते हुए देखते हैं। प्रभु के कार्य का रोकने की कोशिष की जाती हैं, झुटे आरोप लगाये जाते हैं।
बहुत से लोग आज के समय में भी प्रभु के वचनों के भूखे हैं, वे दूर-दूर से कई सभाओं या सम्मेलनों में प्रभु का वचन सुनने आते हैं। प्रभु येसु लोगों को अनन्त जीवन तक बने रहने वाले भोजन के बारे में बताते हैं, जो हमें प्रभु येसु के द्वारा ही प्राप्त होता है। उनके वचन में वह ताकत है जो हमें पोषित करती हैं। क्या हम आत्मा से प्ररित हैं? आइये, हम प्रभु के वचनों को सुनें ओर उन पर चलें।

📚 REFLECTION
A man who is full of divine grace and power, speaks inspired by the Spirit. Spirit guides him. Some argue with Stephen, unable to cope with his wisdom. They wanted to catch him by getting people to give false testimony. We see some similar reality flourishing in the society even today. Attempts are made to stop the work of the Lord, false allegations are made.
Many people are hungry for the words of the Lord even today, they come from far and wide to hear the word of the Lord in many meetings or conferences. Lord Jesus tells people about the food that lasts for eternal life, which we get only through Lord Jesus. His word has the power to nourish us. Are we inspired by the Spirit? Come, let us listen to the words of the Lord and follow them.

📚 मनन-चिंतन- 2
यदि हमारा अंतिम लक्ष्य वास्तव में स्वर्ग है, स्वर्गदूतों और संतों के बीच रहना, और परमेश्वर की अनन्त महिमा का आनंद लेना, यीशु हमें एक स्पष्ट निर्देश प्रदान करते हैं कि हमें क्या करने की आवश्यकता है - 'नाश होने वाले भोजन के लिए काम न करें, लेकिन उस भोजन के लिए जो अनन्त जीवन तक बना रहता है'। भौतिक, शारीरिक अर्थों में पृथ्वी पर हमारा समय सीमित है। और फिर भी, हम अपना अधिक ध्यान अपने शारीरिक कार्य करने की क्षमता पर, भौतिक वस्तुओं पर जो हम इकट्ठा कर सकते हैं, और हमारे करियर या पारिवारिक स्थिति पर और हमें जानने वालों द्वारा हमें कैसा माना जाता है, पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हैं। और फिर भी, यीशु हमें स्पष्ट रूप से याद दिलाता है कि हमें अपने व्यक्तित्व के आध्यात्मिक और आत्मिक आयामों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिए कि जब हम मरेंगे तो यही हमारे साथ रहेगा। अब मैं अपने जीवन में क्या निर्णय ले रहा हूँ, और अब मैं कौन से कार्य कर रहा हूँ, जिनका मेरे मरने के बाद भी स्थायी प्रभाव पड़ेगा?

📚 REFLECTION
The prophet Isaiah asked this question: “Why spend your money for what is not bread; your wages for what fails to satisfy,” (Is.55:2).
Jesus echoes the same question asked by the prophet, in today’s gospel passage, when He rebukes the crowds who seek Him for the wrong reason. They look for a free meal as food. They look for Him because He satisfies their hunger. In other words, their approach is purely materialistic. But this is understandable especially in a country where people live in poverty and food is the basic need. That is why He says to them: “You are looking for me not because you saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled. Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life,” (v. 26-27). Here Jesus invites His listeners to strive for higher realities. He preaches to them to work for food that endures forever which is, His Body and Blood, His Words and to do God’s works like: feed the hungry, give justice to the oppressed, set prisoners free, care for the sick and the elderly, save the unborn, educate the young, house the homeless and so on and so forth but only after He satisfies their physical hunger. It is because, as the saying goes: “You cannot preach to an empty stomach.”
There are two kinds of hunger. They are physical and spiritual. Examples of spiritual hungers are: the hunger for truth, for life and for love. And only God can satisfy the spiritual hunger in our hearts and souls. It is because only Jesus offers us new relationship with God,
Do we hunger for the bread which comes down from heaven and thirst for the words of everlasting life?

📚 मनन-चिंतन -2
प्रभु येसु ने अपने मिशन कार्य में कई चमत्कार किये। उन में से एक रोटियॉं का चमत्कार है जहॉं पर उन्होनें कई लोगो को खिलाया। इस चमत्कार के बाद जब लोग उन्हें खोजते हुए आये तब येसु ने उन से कहा, ‘‘मैं तुम लोगों से यह कहता हूॅं- तुम चमत्कार देखने के कारण मुझे नहीं खोजते, बल्कि इसलिए कि तुम रोटियॉं खा कर तृप्त हो गये हो।’’ अक्सर लोग येसु को इसलिए खोजते है जिससे कि उन्हें कुछ सामग्री वस्तुए प्राप्त हों या उनके जीवन में समृद्धि हो। परंतु येसु कहते है, ‘‘नश्वर भोजन के लिए नहीं, बल्कि उस भोजन के लिए परिश्रम करो, जो अनन्त जीवन तक बना रहता है।’’ हमें अपना परिश्रम उन भोजन की खोज में लगाना चाहिए जो अनन्त जीवन तक बना रहता है परंतु इस संसार में रहते हुए और इस संसार की प्रवृत्ति को देखकर अक्सर हम उन चीजो में लग जाते है जो कि नश्वर है।
अनन्त जीवन तक बना रहने वाला भोजन की प्राप्ती उस येसु में विश्वास करने से होगी जिसे पिता नेे भेजा है। हमारे जीवन में हमारी प्रार्थनाओं का उत्तर, आशीषें, चमत्कार, अद्भुत घटनायें लौकिक स्तर में बढ़ने ंके लिए नहीं अपितु येसु जो कि सच्चा ईश्वर है उस पर विश्वास करने के लिए घटित होती है।
आईये हम अपने जीवन पर मनन करके देखे कि जन्म से लेकर अब तक हम किन चीज़ों के लिए परिश्रम करते आयें है? यदि हम केवल नश्वर भोजन और वस्तुओं के लिए परिश्रम करते आये तो हमारा पूरा जीवन और मेहनत मृत्यु के बाद व्यर्थ में चला जायेगा। हमें उन चीज़ों पर केन्द्रित रहने की आवश्यकता है जो अनन्त जीवन तक बनी रहती है तथा हमें मृत्यु के बाद भी मददगार रहती है। जिस प्रकार कलोसियों के नाम पत्र 3ः1-2 में संत पौलुस कहते है हमें भी पृथ्वी पर की नहीं परंतु ऊपर की चीजों की चिन्ता और खोज करने की जरूरत है। आईये हम उस ओर आगे बढ़े। आमेन

📚 REFLECTION
Jesus had performed many miracles during his mission. One of the miracles is feeding the people by the multiplication of bread. After the miracle when people came in search of him, Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.” The reason why many look for Jesus is that they may receive some material benefit or prosperity in their lives. But Jesus says, “Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life.” We need to put our efforts to search for the food that endures for eternal life but living in this world and seeing the world trend we tend to search for the things which perishes.
The food which endures for eternal life can be gained only by believing in Him whom God has sent in this world that is Jesus. The answered prayers, blessings, miracles, wonders happen in our lives not to grow in the material level but to come to believe in Jesus, the true God for whom nothing is impossible.
Let us reflect in our lives from the moment of our birth till now what we were working for? For the food which perishes, if we were working for that then our whole life and effort will go in waste after our death. We need to focus on the things which are lasting and will help us after our death. As St. Paul says in Col 3:2, we too need to set our minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
